This website is hosted by Linnet Kazemi, PT, DPT, Dip. MDT. Ms. Kazemi has spent the past seventeen years working as a physical therapist, the past twelve years have been in outpatient orthopaedic settings. Prior to that, she worked in two, large, teaching hospitals in New York City: New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University Campus; and Hospital for Special Surgery. She became a diplomat in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy in 2014 having been previously credentialed in 2011. In 2010, she graduated with her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University. In 2000, she graduated from Columbia University with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy.
In 2017, Ms. Kazemi joined the faculty training program under the McKenzie Institute International (MII), which provides worldwide education, training and support to clinicians for Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT). While Ms. Kazemi draws from information and techniques associated with MDT, the views and opinions expressed on this website are those of Ms. Kazemi [and guest contributors] and may not be those of the MII.
